Over the past few years, Lynda began to recognize the need to begin preparing for one of the most challenging knowledge and leadership transfers in history. Lynda believes that our community is on the leading edge of a wisdom transfer program that will continue to make the Greater Sudbury and Manitoulin regions a destination of choice for new business and promote an active, healthy community, rich in human resources, business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.

With this vision, she created a succession planning and workforce development planning program that encourages all business to look to the future now.

Born, raised and educated in Southern Ontario, Lynda Beavis came to Sudbury in 1978 and continued her education through courses at Cambrian College and Laurentian University. Lynda has more than 35 years in the business world both as a senior executive in a large corporation and as an independent business owner in Sudbury.

Lynda is President of The Beavis Learning Group, a company' dedicated to life long learning. She has developed and facilitated courses for many clients including Cambrian College, CDI College (formerly Toronto School of Business) and the Business Development Bank (formerly the Federal Business Development Bank), Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services and The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce, as well as private corporations and non-profit organizations to meet specific workplace needs.
